Introduction :

Architectural movement, product of expressing originality and contemporary artistic thought, also reflects the social, economic and political life in all civilizations. Forms and styles of architecture change from age to age and from country to country. Glass plays an important role in architecture .

Forms of architecture have been changed in the modern era. New materials have been revealed, and architectural thinking represents the Modern Movement and takes advantage of advanced technologies for the glass industry. Architects influenced by these techniques used them heavily in modern designs. It was associated with the emergence of Modern Architecture trends in the philosophy of a physical nature and abstract conflict with many of the old ideological things. These trends have confirmed to satisfy the new society and the evolving theories of architecture and thus began the emergence of forms were not known before in line with cutting-edge technology and new philosophical theories of art and architecture.

The architect Frank Lloydwright had confirmed the use of glass as a key element in design that relies on organic school style where the simplicity of the style adopted in express reliance on transparency which emphasizes the organic compatibility between the outside and the inside, with the use of simple lines with colours which emphasize the symbolic philosophy of the work. Also Van Doebrng, interested in using architectural glass, is one of the most famous artists of the De Stijl School where the style of the modern school of art was adopted and moved away from the traditional style, departing from the basic rules and direction to the use of geometric shapes and lines. That technique helped to change the art of the stained glass traditional stereotype; instead, it focuses on reciprocal relations between tonal and formal rectangular vertical and horizontal, and the correlation between transparency and opacity. All those methods helped show aesthetic architecture .
